The Memorial Health Foundation has established a new downtown office in Abilene. Community members are welcome to stop by 418 N.W. 3rd Street (the former Astra Bank building).
The move allows the Foundation to be much more accessible to visitors. “So many of the Foundation’s development programs will benefit from much higher levels of involvement from volunteers and community leaders,” Foundation Director, Bob Harvey explained. “Our audience is in our community rather than on the hospital’s campus. We felt it was time to make ourselves more accessible to the public.”
Harvey is continuing to work with the community-at-large to evaluate prospective projects being considered by the Health System. “We will be forming advisory panels and will work to continue with building relationships with the community.”
