Diabetes Support Group to Meet September 4

The Dickinson County Diabetes Support Group will meet on Tuesday, September 4, at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Hospital, in Abilene, Conference Room B. Jennifer Kirkpatrick, the dietitian at Memorial Health System, invites anyone with diabetes and/or their family members to join the group.

This month’s meeting will be about “Blue Zone Habits” and how diabetes can affect the aging process. Blue Zones are places in the world where living to 90 or 100 years old is common.

The Dickinson County Diabetes Support Group is open to anyone with diabetes and family members of those with diabetes. The group meets the first Tuesday of each month.

The Dickinson County Diabetes Support Group is affiliated with the American Diabetes Association, Memorial Health System, and K-State Research and Extension, Dickinson County.
