Congratulations to Amanda Manning and Ernie Brooks who delivered the first baby in 2019 at Memorial Hospital in Abilene.
Octavia Manning was born on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, 5:39 p.m., in the Birthing Center at Memorial Hospital. She weighed 5 pounds 12 ounces and was 18 inches long.
The family received a newborn gift basket, from the Memorial Health System Volunteer Corps (MHSVC), including a crocheted blanket, a burp cloth, a teddy bear, and an assortment of other items.
