Volunteer Corps Grants Gift to Respiratory Care and Cardiac Rehab Departments

The Memorial Health System Volunteer Corps (MHSVC) recently purchased two crash carts for the Respiratory Care and Cardiac Rehabilitation departments at Memorial Hospital through the volunteers’ annual gifting program. The new locking carts are organized exactly as the carts in other departments at the hospital so staff can easily, and quickly, locate what they need. The carts replace older carts which are used to effectively treat patients who are getting a stress test or patients who need medications.
Pictured with one of the new carts, from left, are:  Linda Duncan, MHSVC President-Elect; Matt Meade, Respiratory Therapist; Eric Kohn, Respiratory Care Director; and Michelle McClanahan, Director of Volunteer Services. The MHSVC holds several fundraisers each year to raise money to support and enhance services within the health system’s many departments.
