MHS Employees Donate to Assist Dr. Thompson’s Efforts in Haiti

Employees of Memorial Health System (MHS) wore blue jeans on May 31st at work for another “Jeans Day” fundraiser. Employees who make a donation of at least $5 are allowed to wear blue jeans on the last Friday of the month. A total donation of $210 was presented to Dr. Susan Thompson. The money raised will go towards the purchase of a used portable ultrasound machine for use at a clinic in Haiti. Dr. Thompson is instrumental in helping in the delivering of babies there. The day was organized by the MHS Employer of Choice (EOC) committee. Pictured from left are: Michelle McClanahan, EOC Committee member, and Dr. Susan Thompson, Special Delivery, LLC.
