MHS Employees Donate to Solomon Boy and Family

Employees of Memorial Health System (MHS) wore blue jeans at work, in November, for a “Jeans Day” fundraiser. Employees who made a donation of at least $5 were allowed to wear blue jeans on Fridays in November. A total donation of $1,015 was presented to Hayden Ballou, who is currently fighting against his second round of leukemia. To date, this is the largest donation made for Jeans Day by the employees of MHS. The Jeans Day was organized by the MHS Employer of Choice (EOC) committee. Pictured in front, holding the check on the right, is Hayden’s mother, Ashley Ballou. Presenting the check is Billy Hansen, EOC committee member, along with additional members of the MHS EOC committee and other MHS employees showing support for Hayden and his family in their battle.
