Hospice Annual Volunteer Banquet to be Held

Hospice of Dickinson County staff and the Hospice Advisory Board are pleased to honor their volunteers and supporters at the Annual Volunteer Banquet. It will be held Thursday, November 17, at 6:00 p.m. at Community Bible Church, 1400 N. Cedar (enter through the lower west door), Abilene. The theme of this year’s banquet is “A Heartfelt Thanks!”

The speaker for the banquet will be Sister Loretta Jasper with Neighbor to Neighbor of Abilene. The End of Trail Quilters Guild will also be honored at the event. Hospice of Dickinson County Volunteers will be honored, by years of service, in a short program.

All Hospice Volunteers, supporters of Dickinson County Hospice, and End of the Trail Quilters Guild members are invited. Guests are welcome to attend.

Guest meals are $12 each and are payable at the door. The meal will be provided by Lucinda’s Katering. Reservations are requested by Wednesday, November 9, and can be made by contacting Adrianne Unruh, Hospice of Dickinson County Volunteer Coordinator, at adunruh@mhsks.org or call 785-263-6630.
