Employees of Memorial Health System (MHS) recently wore blue jeans at work for a “Jeans Day” fundraiser. Employees who made a donation of at least $5 were allowed to wear blue jeans on the last Friday of January. A total donation of $335, which included a $100 anonymous donation, was presented to the MHS Employer of Choice (EOC) committee for their shoe drive to help purchase shoes for MHS employees in need. Employees also donated over 50 pairs of gently used shoes. The day was organized by the MHS EOC committee. Pictured, with some of the donated shoes, are EOC committee members Sara Boyd (left) and Haley Jones.
