Employees of Memorial Health System (MHS) wore blue jeans at work, in September, for a “Jeans Day” fundraiser. Employees who made a donation of at least $5 were allowed to wear blue jeans on Fridays in September. A total donation of $1,735 was presented to Macie Heller and her family. This was a new record amount of money raised for a Jeans Day at MHS. Two-year-old Macie Heller has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, and she continues to have numerous medical appointments and continues to receive treatments. Macie is the daughter of Emily and Ethan Heller. The Jeans Day was organized by the MHS Employer of Choice (EOC) committee.
