Impact Sports & Fitness

Impact Sports and Fitness is a full-service fitness center located in Abilene, Kansas. Our goal is for you to experience an overall feeling of well being and good health. We serve people of all ages and fitness levels and what we offer is unique for a community of our size. A variety of services are available for members and non-members. Our professional staff, which includes nationally certified personal trainers, group fitness instructors, and massage therapist, will help you reach your goals the right way and make you feel at home.

    Weekend Hours
    April 1 – September 30
    Saturday – 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
    Sunday – CLOSED

    October 1 – March 31
    Saturday – 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
    Sunday – 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM

    Impact Sports and Fitness is closed on major holidays.

  2. Membership Plans & Rates

    Membership:
    Single: $36.50 per month*
    Family: $59.00 per month*

    Day Pass: $10 per individual

    Guest Pass: $5 per guest
    (member must accompany guest)

    Walking Membership: $14.75 per month
    (includes only unlimited use of the walking track and locker rooms)

    A discount can apply for one year pre-payment, auto bank draft, MHS Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine patients, seniors, students, corporate, or military.

    Family members must be immediate family living in the same household and be children under the age of 21.

Impact Sports & Fitness has state-of-the-art cardio and strength equipment, locker rooms, showers, workout areas, a classroom, and a track. We also offer a large variety of group classes that include everything from yoga to circuit training to spin classes.

  1. Massage Therapy

    Impact Sports & Fitness offers massage therapy by a certified massage therapist.  Massage therapy is a therapeutic treatment that can complement traditional health care.

  2. Personal Training Packages

    What is your fitness goal? Where do you need to direct your wellness efforts? Are you concerned about weight? Body tone? Cholesterol? Blood pressure? Stress? Endurance? Strength? Rehabilitation?

    Our certified trainers will design a well-rounded program to help you achieve success in your personal goals.

    Half-hour sessions:
    1 session – $30.00
    5 sessions – $125.00
    10 sessions – $235.00
    20 sessions – $450.00

  4. Free Weight Area

    Our free weight area features Life Fitness and Hammer Strength equipment, known for their durability, ergonomic design, and performance-driven engineering. This professional-grade equipment supports a wide range of strength training goals and is trusted in fitness facilities worldwide.

  5. Boxmaster

    The Boxmaster offers a fun, high-energy workout that improves cardiovascular fitness, coordination, balance, and reaction time. This interactive boxing system allows users to train at their own pace with customizable workouts designed for beginners through advanced fitness levels, making it an engaging option for building strength, endurance, and stress relief.

  6. Selectorized Weight Machines

    Selectorized weight machines provide a safe and effective way to build strength and improve muscle tone. Designed with adjustable weight stacks and guided movement paths, these machines support proper form and controlled motion, making them suitable for beginners and experienced users.

  7. Cardiovascular Equipment

    We have a variety of cardiovascular equipment to choose from: treadmills, stationary bikes, seated elliptical machines, rowing machines, and a stair climber.

  10. Parkinson's Program

    Thanks to donations from Coyote Crazy, an event organized by Dennis Rider and a group of his supportive friends, Impact Sports and Fitness is able to help those who live with Parkinson’s manage their symptoms by offering their services FREE of charge.

Impact the Cause (formerly Impact the Cure) is an annual 5K run and 2-mile fun walk hosted by Impact Sports & Fitness in Abilene, KS that brings the community together to raise funds for meaningful local health initiatives. Originally focused on breast cancer awareness and screening support, the event has evolved to support a broader range of community health needs through the Memorial Health Foundation. Proceeds from the event have helped fund free mammograms, playground development, youth health initiatives, and more. Held each year in September, Impact the Cause features races for all ages, community activities, and opportunities for everyone to get moving for a good cause.
