Employees of Memorial Health System (MHS) recently wore blue jeans at work for another “Jeans Day” fundraiser. Employees who made a donation of at least $5 were allowed to wear blue jeans on the last Friday of June. The day was organized by the MHS Employer of Choice (EOC) committee. A total donation of $220 was presented to the Abilene Public Library for the Children’s Library. The children’s Summer Reading Program has over 650 kids participating in reading logs. The kids log their time spent reading, and they can win prizes.
