Stephanie Raub, of Bombshell Salon in Abilene, and Memorial Health System (MHS) Chief Nursing Officer, Angie Johnson stop for a photo with a cartload of items donated by Raub. Raub recently purchased the Auburn Pharmacy building (the old Bankes building) in downtown Abilene, and Auburn Pharmacy manager Angela Horsfall agreed to donate the items. Raub plans to have her new salon location open soon. The two agreed that the unused medical items remaining in the building would be best put to use as a donation to departments at MHS, such as Home Health and Hospice, and Village Manor. Pill planners, compression socks, disposable sanitary supplies and much more were included.
