Employees of Memorial Health System (MHS) recently wore blue jeans at work for a “Jeans Day” fundraiser. Employees who made a donation of at least $5 were allowed to wear blue jeans on the last Friday of March. A total donation of $391, was presented to a local family. The Abilene home, that the family was living in, was recently destroyed by a fire, along with all of their belongings, and pets were also lost. The Jeans Day was organized by the MHS Employer of Choice committee.
