Hospice of Dickinson County invites Hospice families to “share the journey” with volunteers and staff at the upcoming Celebration of Life Picnic on Tuesday, September 26, at 6:00 p.m. at the Lake Shelter House at Herington Lake, 497 Trail Road, Herington. Follow the signs at the lake entrance. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair. The meal will be provided by Hospice volunteers and staff.
A short ceremony honoring loved ones will be presented. Attendees can write the name of their loved one(s) on cardinal and butterfly cutouts, which will be placed onto a tree during the ceremony. The cutouts may be taken home after the Celebration of Life Picnic.
