The 18th annual Ed Kuntz Memorial Golf Tournament was held June 16 at Great Life Golf and Fitness in Abilene. Fifteen teams participated with challenges and prizes awarded for every hole. Cash prizes were awarded to the top three teams in each flight. Kelly Sellers, Gunnar Anderson, Mark Picking, and Dalton Shaffett were the overall winners. They had a winning score of 55.

The winner of this year’s “Golf Ball Drop” was Brad Berry. A total of 304 golf balls were dropped this year and Berry’s ball made it closest to the hole. The total raised from the ball drop was $1520, of which the winner received $599. The winner of the raffle was Harold Courtois.

Hospice of Dickinson County is a local non-profit organization that accepts all hospice patients that meet criteria regardless of ability to pay. This golf tournament is spearheaded by the Ed Kuntz family and the proceeds are donated to Hospice of Dickinson County for Hospice patient services.

Hospice of Dickinson County and the Kuntz family thank all sponsors and participants for their support.
