The employees of Memorial Health System (MHS) recently held an Ice Cream Social fundraiser to benefit the Abilene Public Transportation Fund. For a suggested donation of $3.00, anyone could come and create their own sundae. A total donation of just over $197 was donated to the fund. The fund provides public transportation rides to and from medical appointments within the city of Abilene.
